This is not your soft-spoken, slow-breathing, softly-lit version of self-help.
This is the group chat version.
The diary rant version.
The “I just got off the phone with my therapist and I have thoughts” version.
Some days, I’m your emotionally fluent big sister with resources and reframes.
Other days, I’m your slightly feral best friend who’s over it and calling shit out in all caps.
Here, we hold both.
Because healing doesn’t look only one way.
It’s not always about breathwork and softening and learning to be the bigger person.
About avoiding dissociation, or shaming yourself for losing your shit.
Sometimes, it’s about finally saying:
“I’ve had enough.”
Not in a burn-it-all-down way—but in a no more pretending this doesn’t hurt me kind of way.
In a my feelings are valid even if they’re not convenient kind of way.
In a what if I stopped trying to be palatable and just let myself be real kind of way.
Because here’s the thing:
There’s nothing wrong with mindfulness.
There’s nothing wrong with deep breathing, or somatic tools, or taking a pause.
But if you’re using those things to shrink your anger, your tears, your truth into something more reasonable and manageable for other people—that’s not healing. That’s self-abandonment.
This space exists because you are worth believing in.
You are worth fighting for—even if you’ve been taught that speaking up makes you difficult. *And if you do it imperfectly sometimes.
You are not too much for asking to be met, held, or heard.
And I don’t think your big feelings are the problem.
I think they’re the evidence that you’re still alive and not numb to what matters.
So if you’re looking for a place where you can:
unpack your conditioning without sugarcoating it,
talk boundaries without the corporate lingo,
name your feelings without trimming them down to bite-sized pieces—
you’re in the right place.
I write for the chronically thoughtful, the quietly rebellious, the over-achieving people-pleasers who are learning to take up space instead of just holding it for everyone else.
This space is for you if:
You’ve ever been told you’re “too much” for simply telling the truth.
You’re tired of being told to be “the bigger person” when what you really needed was someone to take your side.
You’re done performing peace when what you want is honest, messy, liberating clarity.
We ride at dawn, babe.
Caffeinated. Boundaries set. Truth unfiltered.
Let’s unlearn the rules, reclaim our voice, and remember that healing doesn’t always whisper—sometimes it speaks up, loudly and imperfectly and that’s enough.
Come for the rants. Stay for the clarity.
This is the rally cry disguised as a newsletter.
Let’s go.
